Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Foundation & other new products I'm loving

Surprise, surprise: I went online shopping a month ago. In search of a high-end foundation I did a small research on which brand, which shade, which foundation to select and of course where to buy it. If it's one thing I'm good at it's definitely figuring out where to get a product for lowest price possible. I can proudly anounce I have a PhD about this topic (for my fellow slovenian readers: mogoče sem pa samo gorenjka).

After loads of sleepless nights and nightmares about which foundation to choose I decided for YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint foundation and I'm not even gonna lie, 50% of my decision was based on the packaging. The other 50% were: light to medium coverage, longwearing, easy to apply, matching shade. Easy peasy!

I bought the YSL Touche Éclat foundation on Notino.at an austrian online shop (which is also available in Slovenia under the name Salma.si by Notino and many other countries for that matter). I got some other products there as well. One of them was a repurchase and other two were something I really wanted to try out.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Le Teint

Described as the 1st awakening foundation by YSL. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and Ruscus Extract, to improve the look of skin quality for a well-rested and naturally radiant complexion.
I've been using this foundation almost every day for more than one month now and I'm trully impressed. I got it in the shade BD 10 Warm Porcelain (yellow undertone) and it fits me really well (swatch on natural light HERE). Foundation blends really well, no matter what tool you use. I apply it with my fingertips, a beauty blender or Zoeva 102 Silk Finish foundation brush. It blends very seamlessly into skin which is also a result of well hydrated skin of course, I'm aware of that.
It offers light to medium coverage. I think the formula is buildable but I almost never apply more than 1 pump because there's no need for it. And just for the record, I wasn't that sure about the finish, since I have slightly oily skin these months (hormonal imbalance hello) but it looks really good on me. It's also not tacky to the touch and quite long lasting.

Worth the money?
Yes, unfortunately (for my wallet). This has got to be one of the best foundations I have ever tried (apart from Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation). Btw I would also love to try Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation.
Very pricey, indeed. Best price is on Notino.at, under 45€. Check it out here: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Le Teint.

Invisibobble - The traceless hair ring

I know these aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they are mine. For more than 2 years tbh. I got my first pack in Douglas Box of Beauty (I think) and have been loving them ever since. Actually my first pack of these hair ties lasted me 2 years. So this is my second set. If I will be able to find the old ones I will post a photo of them here. They're not in a great shape anymore but they still do the work.
I love these so much because they have a strong grip without pulling my hair out. They're perfect for ponytails and buns. I wanted to choose a "more happy" colour, but I just couldn't resist this cute packaging.

Normally around 5€ but I got them for 3,90€. Check it out here: Invisibobble Original Circus

Maybelline The Colossal Big Shot Mascara

The best mascara I've ever had is Clarins Be Long Mascara (followed by Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Mascara). Although there are some great high end mascaras out there they're extremely expensive and I wanted a drugstore alternative which won't cost me a kidney or two.

I've read great things about Maybelline's The Colossal Big Shot so I ordered it and it didn't disappoint me. It gives volume, separates my lashes nicely and doesn't clump. I normally apply 3-4 coats just because I can (2 coats would probably be enough for normal people). It also lenghtens the lashes a bit, which is nice. I normally prefer sillicone wands, but this one is quite good. All in all a very, very good drugstore mascara, I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Normally around 9-10€ (correct me if I'm wrong), I paid 7,50€. Check it out here: Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Big Shot

TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier

I also ordered a creme for curls but I gave this one to my mum. It's meant to define and separate curls. My mum was in search for a hair product which doesn't leave the curls crunchy and odd-looking and I've read very good reviews on this one, so I ordered it. And she likes it, because it gives a hold to her curls without weighing them down. I used this creme twice and I like it too. It feels really nice on hair and my hair felt very soft. You can use this on damp or dry hair. The only thing bothering me is the scent, but that's wasn't exactly a schocker because I already know that TIGI products are very perfumed. Of course I forgot to make solid photos of the product. I just have one photo from my IG Stories.

Around 20€ if not discounted. I got it for 11,20. Check it out here: Tigi Catwalk Curlesque

Have a great day weekend!
